All Injury Rehab of North Dallas

A common scenario seen at All Injury Rehab & Chiropractic involves injuries which occurred while traveling to or from medical appointments concerning Workers' Compensation claims.

By medical appointment, we mean a Chiropractor or Physical Rehabilitation appointment that someone is attending to secure medical care for a work related injury or occupational injury rehab. An example of this type would be someone who was invloved in an auto accident while traveling to or from one of our North Dallas Chiropractor Clincs, this would be a "consequential injury".

Any personal act or non-related errand mitigates the causal connection needed to prove a consequential injury. For instance, assume that someone with a work related back injury has just been treated by All Injury Rehab & Chiropractic and decided to stop for lunch on the way home from one of our Dallas Clinics. Following lunch, the Patient is injured in a motor vehicle accident traveling from the eating establishment to their home. In this situation, the injuries from the motor vehicle accident will likely not be covered under the Workers' Compensation case since stopping for lunch represents a personal act following their visit to the chiropractor. However if traveling from our clinic to their home they are involved in the same accident, without stopping, this can be considered a consequential claim and covered under the Workers' Compensation claim.
