All Injury Rehab of North Dallas

At All Injury Rehab & Chiropractic we understand when returning to work after an injury it is necessary to have appropriate medical restrictions in place to ensure there is no repeat of the injury.

Our Patient specific treatment program your Doctor of Chiropractic creates is based on your medical background information that you will provide upon your initial visit and consutation. That being the case it is imperative that you be honest with the Chiropractor about what hurts, how much it hurts and what work incident caused the pain to begin with.

At our five Dallas area clinics you will have a specific plan built for your needs by a trained Doctor of Chiropractic which may give you a limit for weight lifting, restrict the time you're able to stand or sit, or even require that you be temporarily placed in a different work environment. You and your employer can then take these restrictions and apply them to your job focusing on what you can do, rather than what you can't.

Work Restriction Compliance

It may be inconvenient to ask for help or to work with job modifications, but keep in mind that it's temporary, and it really is in your best interest. And remember, lifting that heavy box at home is no different than lifting it at work. Restrictions apply everywhere, not just on the job.

As you heal, your Chiropractor may gradually decrease or lesson the restrictions or eliminate them altogether. Even if you feel you can do more than you are allowed, you should still comply with your current restrictions until your next All Injury Rehab office visit with your doctor. At that time, your Chiropractor can adjust your restrictions as appropriate.

As always, if you find that even with your restrictions, you're experiencing pain when you work, call your All Injury Rehab Chiropractor immediately. It's important to prevent reinjuring yourself.
